The Nike Air Max Plus was released in the fall of 1998. The shoe was the first running shoe to feature Nike's Tuned Air system. The Nike Tuned Air system consists of two opposing polymer hemispheres that rebound against each other to absorb shock. The Nike Air Max Plus is commonly refurred to as the Air TN or Air Tuned.

The Nike Air Max Plus casual shoe features a Max AirR unit in the heel for extra comfort and cushioning with every step. Synthetic and mesh upper is visually appealing with TPU overlays for lasting durability. Rubber outsole delivers excellent traction.

The Nike Air Max Plus was a huge hit in London and Europe (especially France), but was not a major hit at home in the US. In fact, the MSRP has actually dropped in the US from its initial price of $125 to $110 - something that rarely happens with Nike. Nike wisely has retroed the Air Max Plus countless times, mostly in European markets. In the US, you can only find the Air Max Plus at Footlocker, Champs, Footaction as it is exclusive to their chain.

I just let you know that you surprised me again! Mom and I are on the phone ordering shoes online, when she went to another site, I went back to your site. Her website will be within 7 days notice, if she ordered her but we are using! I called my mother to tell her this morning, I received my shoes, and she just could not believe it. She will next time you use! Thanks again! The service is terrible and shoes are also great!
